ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY:

The admissions standards for B.Sc. Nursing students are as follows:

  1.  The candidate should be a minimum of 17 years of age for a B.Sc. Nursing admission
  2. The maximum age limit is 35 years for B.Sc. Nursing
  3.  Candidates should have passed class 12 with Physics, Biology, English, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects to apply for B.Sc. Nursing; should have obtained a minimum of 45 percent marks in aggregate (40 percent for SC/ST/BC).
  4. Candidates should fulfill the cut-off requirement in the qualifying entrance exam for B. Sc. Nursing admission conducted by the University.
  5. Date of Counseling shall be decided by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The decision of the University will be final.
  6.  Student shall be medically fit.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

An entrance criterion is the same as applying for any other undergraduate course. Admission to the BSc Nursing program involves the following steps:

  1. Applicants for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program must submit an online or paper application.
  2. Submission of applications results in the issuance of exam admission cards to those who have successfully completed the process.
  3. Attend the admission exam: Attendance at the entrance exam is required.
  4. After completing the entrance test, the competent authorities will disclose the results depending on the performance of the candidate.
  5. After the results are announced, the conducting body will publish the cut-off list, which specifies the minimum qualifying marks that applicants must meet in order to be considered for admission to the BSc nursing program.
  6. Counseling: The BSc Nursing counseling procedure will be completed in accordance with the results of the merit list.
  7. Seat allocation: Based on counseling and the candidates' scores, they will be assigned seats at the universities of their choosing.
  8. Candidates must appear in person at the colleges where their seats have been allotted in order to continue the admissions process.

ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY:

1.  The candidates should have passed class 12 preferably with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) subject along with English with 40% in aggregate from a recognized Board of School Education or its equivalent Board.

2. Candidates must have passed class 12 from Arts/commerce (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health Care Science – Vocational stream only, passing out from recognized Board such as AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSC/HSC or other equivalent Board scoring 40% in aggregate are also eligible.

3.    Candidates who have passed class 12 from Arts or Science examination or Health Care Science – Vocational stream only conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40 percent in aggregate.

4.    SC/ST candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5%marks.

5.    The age of candidates should be between 17 to 35 years. However, a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit shall be applicable for SC/ST candidates.

6.    Student shall be medically fit.

7.    Student shall be admitted once in a year.
